Ever been in a classroom while the teacher writes and explains a problem or subject and decided not to waste time and attention writing down whats already on the board in order to focus? Then had to pull out your smartphone to catch a picture of the board? PhotoNotebook is an app that creates virtual notebooks where you can easily store those photos with title, date, and tags added in order to well organize everything for quick browsing and sharing. With a built in database inside the app you wont ever have to have your personal photos alongside class or work photos. Also, you wont lose icloud space in photos which were meant to be needed only for a semester or a small period of time. You can easily share your photos from school or work with a customized email sheet in which you select the photos you wish to send and a recipient, then all the titles, tags, and dates are attached to the photos in the email already. Added functionalities include deeper zoom of board pictures (deeper than the one IOS uses) and a search tab where you can find any photo in any notebook.

In scenarios like a Calculus class where a difficult problem might be very complex and lengthy and you wish to pay close attention instead of writing down the problem, you can use this app, choose the virtual notebook of the class and assign the title of the problem, select the tags, and take the photo or several with the same title. They will be indexed by date in that virtual notebook. This app replaces the need to use the stock camera app, then having to go to your photos app, look back at every photo to try to determine what class a problem belongs to, where a specific one starts or what was the problem about in the first place. The conception of PhotoNotebook was based in need of organization for just this types of scenarios.
